South London Sinfonia began in 1927 - so we are nearly 100 years old!

Since then, the orchestra has allowed enthusiastic amateurs with a range of abilities to enjoy making music together.

We have been rehearsing at St Mildred's Church in Addiscombe since 1965 - so it definitely feels like home.

We are looking for new members in all sections, but particularly strings and brass. We play a wide variety of classical music, as well as lighter contemporary pieces.

Our wonderful conductor and musical director Danusia Adamska joined us in 2019. She is a professional violinist, violist and teacher.

We've been around since 1927...
