The orchestra performs regularly in public several times a year.

It was with regret that we had to postpone our planned concert on 21st March 2020.  We hoped to re-schedule later in 2020, but it was not to be.  We are all desperate to play together again, and hope that we can announce concert dates for 2021 soon.

Our most recent concert on December 10th 2019 had a seasonal feel:- Starting with Bizet's dramatic L'Arlesienne, and progressing through the fun Toy Symphony to Tchiakovsky's Nutcracker Suite, followed by a spirited rendering of The Post Horn Galop (Koenig) and Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride" and "Christmas Festival".  Audience and orchestra alike had a great time.

Our concert on 2nd November 2019 was a wonderful vibrant programme inspired by the season.  Danse Macabre (Saint-Saëns) made a dramatic introduction, followed by "Night on Bald Mountain" (Mussorgsky) and the 2nd movement of Beethoven's 7th.  In the second half, "Marche Funèbre D'une Marionette" (Gounod) was a hit, and we finished with a selection from “La Boutique Fantasque” (Rossini / Respighi).  This was our second concert with our new Musical Director, Danusia Adamska, and was received enthusiastically by our largest ever audience.

Her debut in July 2019 was an exciting journey from the Hebrides (Mendelssohn) through Romania (Bartok) and Bohemia (now part of the Czech Republic - Dvorak) back to London (Haydn Symphony 104).
