The South London Sinfonia is an orchestra based in Croydon.

We are a friendly community orchestra based in Croydon, rehearsing weekly on Tuesdays during term times.

Having, with regret, made the decision that we must postpone the concert on 21st March, it seems that rehearsals will now have to be cancelled well into next term.

When we have the go-ahead to resume rehearsals we will continue with this lovely programme.  If you would like to join us, whenever that happens to be, we have spaces for string players (especially violas and basses), a permanent 2nd trumpet and occasional brass.

Contact the Membership Secretary, Kate Williams or the Chair, Margaret Hawkins for more information or to be included in our "Friends of the Orchestra" emails.

Programme going forward: Beethoven Coriolan Overture, Vaughan williams "English Folk Song Suite", German "Three Dances from Henry VIII", Delibes "Le Roi S'Amuse",

Handel "Water Music ", and Schubert Symphony 8 (Unfinished)
